Dear Diary

I realised something today. Reading has a great impact on the mind. I can say so because I think it was Ruskin Bond's stories and poems, particularly "The Cherry Tree" that has woken me up to the beauty of nature around me. I used to take nature for granted, almost ignoring it, but now I feel that the trees are actually companions who will stand guard for years to come. It is a very heartwarming feeling, to be able to appreciate your surroundings and enjoy them. And the credit goes to Ruskin Bond and his wonderful way of writing! I am going to look up more of his works online and read them all.
