Dear Diary ,
Today’s my gran’s birthday . We surprised her at midnight with a Black Forest cake (her favourite) . She was so surprised . But soon the surprise was taken over by tears of joy . We all had a wonderful day . We went shopping to get gran some nice sarees and other things that she wanted . She is a voracious reader (just like me) . So , she bought 10 books ! She was really happy . Then we went for a lovely dinner . I’m home now and gran’s asleep . I can still see her smiling .
