I will not say that I enjoy traveling. Instead, I will talk about how traveling has always, in a way been what I dreamt of and what I dreaded later. Family trips were always boring: same place, same time of the year, same people. I was eager to grow up and see the world. And as they say, fear what you what, as it may happen. When I was 18 I went to study abroad. Then I took a study abroad programme while studying abroad. Then I visited my friends around the world. Then we went traveling together. By now, I have seen three continents and more than 70 cities. But it is not all pink and fluffy. I have met people I will never ever meet again (alas social media) and I went to places I will never see again. This is probably the saddest part. But there are always memories that stay with me. And when I will be old, there will be those amazing photos I took in Delhi and Santa Monica and Prague and Paris and many more. This is why I love traveling. Because it brings people together and it sets them apart and through time and distance you know who is worth being around you.
Now, my dream spot destination is the French Riviera. Because it is so oh là là in spring and summertime and because I am so done with rainy weather.
