Dear Diary:
A very embarrassing situation arose for me today! I had to
catch my train to Delhi. I had got a little late with the packing up. I was in
great hurry when I reached the platform. There was so much of crowd! The train
was to start just in few minutes. I also had to find my coach S 11. I had
hardly reached coach no S 9 when the train began to move! I ran for my coach. I
managed to climb the coach with my luggage dragging after me. And then the
worst happened! My briefcase fell open; all my clothes and packed things were
scattered on the coach floor. I felt so embarrassed. The passengers had to wait
to get to their seats. Some kind people helped me repack my bag. I have learnt
two lessons today. It is better to reach half an hour in advance than three
seconds late. Second, travel as light as you can!
