As I just planned to get out my house to explore a village nearby with my friends, my mother switched on the TV and it had the weather forecast going on. It said that the city will be under a dark sky for the day, having chances of pours from mother nature. My mother looked at me and i understood that she was going to refuse to let me go, but luckily my friend and her dad had reached my home to pick me up. I ran towards the door screaming and telling my mother that I'll be fine and she need not worry to which she yelled back saying 'Have a safe journey!'
I went inside the car and greeted my friend and her dad. After a 2 hours drive we finally reached the village. I met my other friends there and we all together went to look around the village. Around half an hour had passed with us looking around, that's when it started thundering drastically, and it started raining cats and dogs . We all ran inside a nearby hut where we waited for sometime. After we came out of the hut, we were shocked to see a huge flood forming. My friends dad quickly decided we shouldn't stay longer and we left. I went back home and told my mother all about it to which she replied 'Mothers are never wrong'.
