Dear Diary,
I am going to tell you about Pongal festival and how we celebrate it.
Pongal is a four-days-in length reap celebration celebrated in Tamil Nadu, a southern province of India. For whatever length of time that individuals have been planting and assembling food, there has been some type of harvest celebration.
Pongal, a standout amongst the most essential prevalent Hindu celebrations of the year. This four-day celebration of thanksgiving to nature takes its name from the Tamil word signifying "to bubble" and is held in the long stretch of Thai (January-February) amid the season when rice and different grains, sugar-cane, and turmeric (a basic ingredient in Tamil cooking) are reaped.
It is a 4-day event. So I was busy for 4 days straight. But it was a lot of fun.
