Dear Diary,
I always knew I would be able to manage on my own! Sure I don't have a job and don't have any money to go grocery shopping, but that only happens once a week and Mom and Dad will be back tomorrow, so I was just fine. Thankfully they took my younger sibling with them. I would've died for sure if I had to watch them by myself for these two days !
I still did all my schoolwork but couldn't get to my co-ops because I can't drive by myself just yet, but that was ok because who needs it anyway?
I cleaned the house yesterday. Being alone made it take a lot longer, but it was worth it.
They always said I was the responsible one. Now they can also say that I'm independent ! The only bad thing about being home alone is that some robber could sneak in, but I know where Mom and Dad keep the emergency alarm

Dear Diary,
I am very happy because my mother said to me that I am doing good work. I am helping my mom in her household works. I cleaned all the rooms, kept all things in its own place, even I washed the utensils. My mom gave me some chocolates and hugged me. I can't express my happiness. My father was very happy to know that I did all the works. I did most of the household works, which decreased the mom's burden. She relaxed and watched T.V.
You may not go out and work and earn money to make your parents happy, just you can help you, mom and dad, in household works and earn the happiness of them in this lockdown. I utilized my time in a good way. I am very happy.
