Visit to a museum
Museum is a place where we learn much about the present and the past. It is a place where the objects of historical and artistic values are kept. They are collected from various sources. It is a place where a visitor feels himself being in the past and the present at the same time. Last Sunday I had an opportunity of visiting a museum.
I was accompanied by a friend. We entered the gate of the museum. There were a number of visitors inside. I felt a sense of joy and wonder. The museum is divided into different sections. First of all we enterd the historical section. There were arms and weapons which were used in the past. There were coins and other things of ancient days. In this section of the museum I was completely lost in the past. Then we enterd the zoology section. Here we found the fossils of extinct animals. They presented wonderful scenes. We found ourselves being on the land of dead animals.
Then we entered the art gallery. In this section we found the things of artistic values. Different articles of arts and crafts filled us with joy. All things were attractive and impressive. Several statues of kings and queens and eminent persons of the past were showing the glory of the past.
So, a museum has a great educational value. One can learn many things from the visit to the museum. A visit to the historical section of a museum makes things of history quite clear.
