$\bold \green{Dear \: Diary,}$

Today I visited an orphanage with some NSS volunteers. The orphanage was situated at a peaceful place near my school. The building was spacious and clean. It seemed to be an ideal place for the young orphans. A teacher visited daily to give lessons to the children. There was a permanent caretaker employed to look after them. There was a good library where most of the children were sitting and reading. All the children showered kindness and love and insisted us to have lunch with them. I was happy to see the efforts put by the people in providing the orphans a bright future. It was definitely a meaningful visit.

After visiting the orphanage you start appreciating the little things in life when you see people who don't have them. Only at such times do you tide over the insignificant and immaterial things and appreciate the bigger picture. I feel extremely fortunate that I HAVE MY PARENTS WITH ME, THESE LITTLE ANGELS DON'T.
