Dear diary,

It was last night when I was doing my homework at my table when something thin, long and brown caught my eye. The thing was right beside my bed and somehow placed fear inside me as my heart started beating rapidly. I gathered my courage and stood up to clearly see what it was and whether it was alive or not. When I went near it it was a creature I had not seen before. It had a long tale and black obsidian eyes it was somewhat like a crocodile or tadpole. Afraid, i called my brother to get it out of my room since I had no intention of keeping it. Once my brother had gotten rid of it I asked him what it was. He told me that it was a lizard which are poisonous otherwise harmless. That was my first ever encounter on a lizard though I want to not encounter it again.
