Dear diary,

I have been quite busy these days. Actually I along with my friends have been working with an NGO in relief work for the flood victims. The flood this year took everyone by surprise. The condition in rural areas is quite serious. So the government has converted schools and colleges in our city as flood relief centres. On the appeal of government many NGOs and students are taking active part in relief work. My friend and I have been helping in food distribution work among the flood victims. Our job is to pack the food and go to different centres and distribute the packet among the victim. I derive so much satisfaction of work. Today I along with other volunteers went to a college where flood victim have been station temporarily until the situation returns to normalcy. I felt sorry for them. I derived so much contentment having got an opportunity to contribute in relief work. I pray god for normalcy of life conditions in flood affected area.
