write a discriptive paragraph on vegetables seller
Answers
Answer:
The Vegetable seller comes carrying a basket full of vegetables, on his head. His wrinkled forehead and the bulging veins of the neck soaked with sweat, show that the basket is too heavy for him. On his way for sales, he shouts “vegetables, Vegetables” Very Cheap…”
When somebody stops him, he lifts his basket with great effort and places it on the ground. Then he takes a sigh of relief and shoots a cajoling look at the person.
There are many kinds of vegetables in his basket. Cabbages, best roots, raddish, drumsticks, brinjals, ladies fingers, pumpkins, green chillies, curry leaves, lime etc. are among them.
He tells that they are garden fresh vegetables. When he weighs vegetables with his old fashioned scales, he never forgot to add a little more to the buyer’s side.
Sometimes he also speaks of good and bad of certain vegetables. He explains that “kohila” is a divine medicine for piles patients and raddish is very whole-some for those who are having the sugar trouble. He also says that although drumsticks are a little bit heaty, it would be all right if it were to cook with a little more coconut-milk. “You must never keep ladies fingers and lime touching with each other. “He tells as if he has a specialized knowledge of vegetables.
As he walks from door to door, the weight on his head gets less little by little.
Anyway, before the sun turns westward he finishes his entire stock of vegetables. Thereafter, he goes back home with an empty basket in hand, but with a bulging purse and a happy smile.
