sir ,
sub : 150th anniversary of Gandhi

through the columns of your esteemed daily , I would like to write an article about Gandhi ji's 150th anniversary . Where there's love there's life said Gandhi , a man with much patience who wanted others to have the same thing all the time . He is the one who led a peaceful war something which no one of us now could ever do . He was born on 2nd October 1869 at porbandar. He studied law and became in advocate in South Africa . He returned India to work for its independence . Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary is set to be a global affair this year with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to helm an executive committee that will look into the planning part of the event to make it a big event. The decision to set up an executive committee was taken at the first meeting of the national committee for the commemoration of Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary. The meeting was chaired by President Ram Nath Kovind.

Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said that the event should be organised in a manner that it increases awareness about Gandhiji globally and sends a message that Gandhiji continues to be an inspiration for future generations.

hope this letter of mine takes place in a column of your newspaper .

yours faithfully ,
