It was around 3 a.m at night when I heard a loud thud. I was awakened by the sudden noise.At first I thought I was just dreaming. I woke up and switched on my bedside lamp. I jumped out of bed and peeped through the window. I saw two dark figures carrying a huge sack. The house they had broken into belonged to our neighbour who was on vacation. I picked up the phone and reported the robbery.The police responded a few minutes later. I later switched on the floodlights in our compound. The robbers were caught in the act. I was glad that I was able to save the day.

We woke up on Sunday morning and I went to the terrace and what I saw from there was pretty shocking.
