My mother tongue

My mother tongue is English. Mother tongue means the language that you were born with. For example, when you were speaking, what language were you speaking? Did you get addicted to that language? Then that shows that whatever languge you were born with, it's your mother tongue! But if you were born in a particular country like Sri Lanka, You will get used to speak in one of these languages: Sinhala, Tamil or English.
