Industrial development is taking place at a rapid rate in the present times. As a result, there is stiff competition among the industries to outdo its counterparts and prove to be the best. This has at times resulted in losing respect for human values.

There have been instances where poor people have been asked to relocate from their present premises because the site has proved to be ideal for setting up an industrial establishment. Brute force has also been retorted to evacuate these people and deprive them of a place to stay. At times, industrial wastes have been emptied into residential areas resulting in health hazards for people leaving in these areas.

The above are just some examples to show that rapid industrial development has resulted in the loss of humanity and human values.
