It was summer season and I was traveling to my village . It was my first experience to travel by a bus alone . I was very excited for the journey . I boarded the bus and the conductor of the bus gave me my ticket after I paid him . Soon the bus started to move . My happiness knew no bounds . The humps on the way was as if like traveling on a roller coaster. The bus used to stop at some particular stops and some people used to come into the bus and sell their stuff . I bought a kulfi as I felt a bit hot . It's taste was awesome . To my surprise, it started to drizzle . I could feel the cool water droplets touch my face . It truly was refreshing . On the way , one of the tyre of the bus got flattened due to uneven terrain . I got off the bus and explored the surroundings and ate a yummy meal at a dhaba near by , until the bus was repaired . After 2 hours , I reached my destination . It truly was a wonderful journey .
Hope it helps

It was a Sunday morning. I decided to visit my friend, Ajay who lives in Shahdara. The place is quite far off from my residence in Ashok Vihar and the autorickshaw would have charged a huge amount. So, I decided to board a DTC bus. As I reached the bus stop, I saw a huge crowd on the road. They all made a dash when they saw a bus coming. The buses were packed to capacity some passengers were even hanging on to the gate. The lucky ones managed to put their toes on the foothold and left everything else to God, There is no need of pushing ourselves inside it is done with full force by those who board the bus after us.
A Journey In An Overcrowded Bus Essay
The private buses had observed a strike. The crowd was swelling by the minute. As I boarded the bus, the fellow commuters pushed me in. There were only 50 seats in the bus but more than hundred persons were travelling in it. The number of passengers standing was in no way less than those occupying the seats. There were eight seats reserved for the ladies but they were occupied by young men. The old womens were standing and requesting the boys to vacate the seats. It was not easy to get to the exit door. One had to do some tight rope-walking as if it were a circus show.
My stop was approaching and I started pushing my way towards the door. Suddenly, I felt someone touching my purse. I tried to grab him but he had already slipped. I looked around foolishly because not only the money, but also the ticket was in the same purse.
I shouted loudly and called on the driver to take the bus to the police station. He kept on driving till my stop came. He told me that I would not gain anything because the pickpocket might have got down from the bus immediately. I had learnt a new lesson of life by boarding an overcrowded DTC bus.
