Villages of Odisha are endowed with natural beauty with virgin beaches, serpentine rivers, rich wildlife, etc. as most of them are located on the coast along the Bay of Bengal. The lush green and fertile plains in the villages, most of which are surrounded by palm, coconut trees and mangroves in Odisha. The villages of Odisha are rich in tradition and cultural heritage and the villagers celebrate several colourful festivals throughout the year.

A major portion of Odisha’s total population resides in the villages. Many tribal communities also reside in the villages of Odisha and in fact, Odisha is home to one of the highest number of tribes in India. The principal language spoken in the villages of Odisha is Oriya.

Usually when we hear the word village ,the scenery of mountains, rivers, old temple etc comes into our mind. Odisha's villages full of these beautiful sceneries. Mainly south odisha's villages are full of mountains . A narrow road goes through those mountains , beautiful springs which sounds sweeter than any music sound , clam and green climate all these can make u forget about any kind of worries. Further more east Odisha Beach is the best place for visit. At morning the songs of birds wakes up you in the village. Before sunrise each and every person starts their works just like towns. But there is no tension or worries in their face while going work like in town but a delight of happiness . Ladies also do their works very happily .At evening with as birds return their nest just like that everyone comes to their house including animals . We can see the beautiful orange and golden sky at the time of sunset very clearly. At night all the stars and moon makes the village lighten . There so many things about the beauty of villages but can't be describe in just few words.
