Sehmat (from a Bollywood film named Raazi)
Though the movie is based on a true story..still it's a movie based character…which can be counted as fictional.. I guess :p

A loving father's adored daughter.. living a normal peaceful life..flung into Pakistan as a spy..
Not a cool situation to live in right?
Again you guys will ask me why would you want to live in such a dangerous situation?..again I'll go like why not? :p
Before i dwelve into the character.. I have a backstory…I wanted to join the defense services…being a female.. I wasn't quite encouraged for joining defense services..Army, Navy, Airforce always facinated me since I was 12 years old..
When my elder cousin brother was preparing for the NDA exam.. I was preparing for the pre-medical entrance exam… coz: apni beti ko army thode hi bhejenge? (Who will send their precious daughter in Army?)It's not like I regret being in medical field…coz I equally love it!But the dream of being in the defense services..is still burning somewhere in my heart..
Coming back to the character.. young and vivacious Sehmat from Kashmir is married off into a Pakistani family of a Brigadier to their younger son Iqbal.
She has the zeal and the burning passion of Patriotism…harboured by her father…ignited by her grandfather.
She herself willingly chooses to take over her father's position as a spy due to an inevitable obligation!
A spy requires extreme mind control, a control on his/her emotions, sharpness to gauge any situation, bravery and intelligence to extract the information from the enemy country..
Sehmat executes her duties efficiently..but at the cost of her emotions, empathy, her loving husband..
But again; Watan ke aage kuch nahi..khud bhi nahi(Nothing is greater than one's own nation.)
I admire her extreme patriotism..and I so wish to be able to lead a fruitful life like her for our Motherland India!
hope this helps mark me as brianlist.
