It's a cleanliness campaign run by the govt. Of India & initiated by honourable prime minister. It's also called as the clean India mission or clean India drive. It's an national level campaign. This campaign involves the construction of washrooms and promoting sanitation in rural areas,cleaning streets ,roads, & changing the infrastructure of the country to lead the country ahead. This campaign was officially by narendra modi on 145th birth anniversary of mahatma gandhi on 2nd of october in 2014 at rajghat, New Delhi.
