write a fable using the theme we will succeed if we keep trying
Answers
A farmer’s donkey once fell into a pit. Deciding that the donkey was quite old anyway and would be of no use to him, the farmer asked his servant to bury the animal inside the pit. For the first few times, when the servant put mud piles on the donkey, it started crying miserably. Suddenly, there was no sound at all.
Each time a mud pile fell on the donkey, it shook the pile off and stood on top of it. This kept happening many times but the beast did not give up although it slipped quite a few times. Finally, the pile was big enough for the donkey to stand on it and climb out of the well.
The donkey succeeded in its attempt to come out of the pit only because it kept trying. If it had stopped doing so and given up home after slipping a few times, the donkey would have continued to remain in the pit.
