APJ Kalam is known as Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam was born on 15october 1931and died on 27 July 2015. He was a former President of India. He was born and raised in Ramseswaram, Tamil Nadu. His father Jainulabdeen was a boat owners and his mother Ashlamma was a house wife . He studied physics and aerospace engineering and graduate from Madras Institute of Technology in 1995. He spent the next 40 years as a scientists at the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). He was also involved in the military missile development efforts and he came to be known as Missile Man of India. He was elected as the 11th president of India. He was also a recipient of several awards, including the Bharat Ratna. On 25 july 2015, while he was giving a lecture at Indian Institute of Management, Shillong, he collapsed and died of a heart attack. He died at the age of 83.
