Architectural designs of the British were used in multiple areas and later carried forward by the admirers of those architectures.

Example, When Britishers ruled over Sub continent, they had their own architecture, but later when they left, they left behind admirers of those designs.

Example:  In India, British designs were applied to churches, which directly came from published plans for buildings already present in England.

Colin Campbell, James Gibbs and James Paine have even devoted full works of books to these designs.

A trait of these structures is that they were made to  suit the associated climate and also to complement the local climate of the area in which they would be made.

British architecture is amazing and it can be seen in India.

A number of churches were built by the British in India and their design is all the same as that of the churches in Britain.

They have slanting roofs generally used in places which receive high amount of snow or rain.
