I think, I did the answering a couple of days back.

Let me answer it again. Minerals and rocks are materials, which can be taken out/exploited for our own use but they can not be replenished once again on the global surface.

So these are called exhaustible resources.

The other raw materials, say like vegetables and many other things, can be recreated and thence they are inexhaustible resources.
