My reflection on Wings of Fire

I enjoyed the book more as a biography of Indian Space and Aerospace Innovations/advancements. And less of Dr. Kalam as a person. But still worth a read to know more about ISRO, DRDL and others in India.

Firstly I would like to mention that I thought this book this book is actually written by my inspiration Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam.

This is best biography I have ever read in my whole lifetime.

It fills a person with excitement to do something great in his/her life.

It will make everyone try to achieve success like him.

The only thing I wanted to do is to meet him but it's too late now.

In this autobiography, APJ Abdul Kalam simply tried to say this to all the readers that

Achieve success in life but not for yourself,

nor for your family, nor for your caste, nor for your religion, but for your country and betterment of society.

Always remember who we are, we are Indians.

This book deserves true respect and popularity because it is a perfect mixture of emotions and knowledge. I insist everyone to read it in the memory of the Missile Man of India, former President of India, a common man who changed the history of India: 'A.P.J. ABDUL KALAM'.

Answer:

Hii..!

.

The first part is all about the life of young Kalam. There is a mix of his interactions with his family, friends and

teachers. The lessons he learned in through his tutelage and upbringing in Rameshwaram are beautifully dotted with black and white photographs of the period.

It also covers his early education leading up to his graduation in aeronautical engineering degree from the Madras Institute of Technology. He hailed from a working-class Tamil Muslim family and the book is an interesting peek into the harmonious commingling of Hindus and Muslims of India celebrating the multi-ethnic, multi-religious and composite wealth India.

As a boy, he sold newspapers to help his brother and to overcome

his own financial challenges while attaining his education. Through the text, the need and support of family and friends are eulogized and it certainly proved to be the cornerstone of his life's successes.

Hope it helps you dear!
