Let side of a square be 'a' units
Let the perimeter of that square be 'x' units

area =  {a}^{2}  -  -  -  -  - (1)
But,

x= 4a
ie
a =  \frac{x}{4}  -  -  -  - (2)
Using (2) in (1)

area =  \frac{ {x}^{2} }{16}
