If we compare the cultural values of present and past ,we will notice a wide amount of difference between two different generations.
The older cultural preferences were mostly developed by the regional cultural influences and limited access to the society.
But the newer cultural preferences were completely changed because accessing the wide amount of social genres is now easily possible due to the establishment of digital media platforms, which actually changed the total cultural preferences of almost every modern regions of the present time.
Nowadays,the culture is becoming a global scale asset rather than a regional asset.

Since many decades it has been observed that there had been cultural changes from the remote past ,past and present because of increased technological advancements.
Many years ago an Indian festival dipawali was celebrated by lighting diyas but after technological advancements dipawali is celebrated by using lighting bulbs and fire cracker which were not invented about 200 years ago.
Due to the invention of many life changing devices from Western countries and the colonial rule in India our Indian cultural was influenced by Western culture , which is named as westernization.
As Western culture already affected many countries including India. The literature of their own countries got secluded and english language has become international language and become compulsory in many countries.
As everything is replaced by Western culture thus dressing style of civilians also get changed and now all of us normally wears jeans, shirts, t-shirt, trousers, etc.
Food culture has also changed and kids and youths of our ages likes to eat junkies more than our healthy cookings.
