Given : f(x) = 1/(2x-3)

To Find : Write a function g(x) whose graph represents a reflection in the x-axis of the graph of f(x)

Solution:

f(x) = 1/(2x-3)

Reflection through x axis

f(x) becomes - f(x)

g(x) = - f(x)

g(x) = - 1/(2x-3)

=> g(x) = 1/(3x - 2)

f(x) = 1/(2x-3) - Red Graph

g(x) = 1/(3x - 2)  Blue graph

g(x) reflection of f(x) across x axis

g(x) = 1/(3x - 2) is  reflection in the x-axis of the graph of f(x)
