Ashley's family had made a plan for visiting their grandparents' house this vacation. On a fine day they set out for their journey. Everything was running good when suddenly the clouds came up and it started raining. And so fierce was the thunder that Ashley little brother James was crying. The parents then decided to stay at a place until the storm stops. They found a small hotel on the way and decided to spend the night there. The hotel was empty and only their family and a group of teenage kids were spending their night in the hotel maybe because of the thunderstorm. The family booked a room and went in there. The family was a bit scared as it was really dark out there and they thought probably there were ghosts who would do some harm to them. They had no other choice but to stay. At night Ashley woke up after hearing someone walking past their room. Ashley was a fearless and brave girl enough to open the door and follow the sound. She then suddenly saw a white figure scaring the girl working in the hotel. At first she got startled then she suddenly thought that the figure was probably a person trying to scare the girl. She bravely advanced towards it and pulled off the white cloth and both the girls were shocked to see one of the teenage boys behind the cloth. Ashley was furious and she shouted at the boy so hard that the boy's friends, her family, and the hotel manager woke up and rushed towards them. Later on it was found that these teenage boys were always roaming around and scaring the people. The police were called immediately and they were arrested. Ashley was awarded the Bravest Student Award for her actions.
