The focal idea of the poem is sans language and proper usage of words it is nearly not possible to envisage this beautiful world. Art and words of expression help to articulate thoughts.

EXPLANATION:

  • The poet tells us that words are though vehicles. Thoughts perish if we do not know in what way to say it politely. Therefore, we must learn and store words. Learning the style of expression is necessary too. The poet tells us that English is a fascinating language, therefore everyone must read/learn it. Proper words are needed to articulate thoughts; nevertheless words should match.
  • It helps us to convey ideas distinctly, effectively, and beautifully. Owing to dearth of proper words several ideas are not articulated. As stated by the poet, words are food and dress for thoughts. They provide wings. Everyone across the world desires to hear lovely and fresh ideas. Otherwise they are confined to the mind. Words have power to set thoughts free.
