We were preparing for Inter-school Speech Competetion in our classes. Suddenly, we were shocked to see Rahul. It wasn't like that we didn't know him but we didn't expect him to be there.

Rahul was a shy boy and a good student too but he was stammerer; whenever he went to speak out for something, he would stutter to pronounce a word.

That is why we were shocked to see him in the first place. I stood up and gave him my seat. He accepted and sat down there.

The teacher came in and he kept on speaking how to present ourselves in the competetion. He spoke also which topic be the best for 'Elocution' in the programme.

The teacher asked him to go to the stage for practice. He hesitated at first but he started to speak. No use. He wasn't able to speak a single word. His excitement made everything to a failure and he got tears. He left the stage running out from there.

We had seven days left only. Each day he would come for practice and same thing would happen. Something happened with him on the last day of practice. He came and directly went to the stage, and sat on a chair. We went on the stage and kept delivering our words. He sat there and was listening to us.

It was the day of our Inter-school Speech Competetion. Each participant deliberated their speech beautifully on various topics for different groups. My time came and I tried my level best.

His name came and he went up the stage. He took the mike and was a bit nervous, as I saw his legs trembling there.

I was looking at the ground and I heard a fluent voice with passionate speaking. I look up and saw him delivering the speech. It brought tears of joy to my eyes as he kept on speaking for five minutes.

Topic ;- Shrishti ; The Inter - School program's Challenger.

We were preparing for Inter-school Speech Competition in our classes. Suddenly, we were shocked because it was Shrishti , the girl who was at rest due to some serious health problems was standing in the row to compete us. She was the only girl whom if we say a an inter - school program's challenger as she Participates in all of them and stands on the 1st Rank.

Now that time , the school had organised the inter - school speech competition which was quite exciting as such a competition had not yet took place in our school since years. It was much awaited to see the person , the person who will get on the mark by giving his/her best.

Shrishti , who is my sister, had also decided to take part in it and get a good Rank. I too submitted the name in the list of participants. 3 days more to go ...

The Last day , means it was Friday after which on Saturday , the competition was to be held. We all were excited , somewhat afraid too thinking about what would happen if we commit any mistake by fault. Well , not just been a participant , Shrishti Dii , being much senior from us also motivated ourselves to think like a proton for the competition for a better result. And we did followed her and the result was amazing as we were motivated and without any fear , we were able to stand before the Mike.

Now , it was Saturday , the day on which the competition was held.

The time came , program began by 11 A.M. as per it's timing and all the participants started giving his/her speech amongst the campus. The time came and I too was called on the stage being a participant but due to some serious health issues at the same time , I wasn't able to perform and very sadly I was out of competition as I wasn't a participant anymore. Didi come to me, asked about my Health and she promised me to win the competition for me as I wasn't standing in queue to participate anymore.

It's the time , the time of My Diidi's turn , I still do remember those 5 minutes she gave the speech but was speechless that made people to cry being filled with realities and many more emotional truths.

Even my eyes felt about to cry but it was the reaction of my happiness that I seemed to cry but I wasn't.

Shrishti Dii , being the best performer , stood up with 1st Rank. I still remember the scene , many souls around us , appreciating her , giving her his/her blessings which was one of the best part of my life.

Now , she is the only one , from whom till today I had learnt alot. She is Graduated now , and it's my last year in St. Joseph , Prayagraj and as she had trained me to crack such competitions. After her , I had took her place and now I get the best rank among all by giving the best of me myself and for my such qualities and achievements , I always thank to my Didi for Making me a challenger.
