It was a dark winter night. A man was walking hurriedly down the street. His head was covered and no one could see his face. However, whoever he went close to, shrieked and ran away.
I was also watching the man with interest. I was standing at the bus stop waiting for my bus. Then the strange man came towards me. As he approached closer, I could see the covered face. It was a skull with red eyes. Blood was dripping from his canines.
I ran to save my life; the man with the scull ran after me. Far, I could see a church. I ran towards it. Every moment the man was getting closer to me. I put my heart and soul into running. I managed to get inside the church. I ran towards Christ’s crucifix. The man followed me. At the foot of the crucifix was a candle burning. The man came close to me. He threw his hood back and stared at me with his burning red eyes. I knew he would kill me.
Suddenly, I picked up the candle and threw it at him. The candle scared him. As he began to run away from the candle light. The fire from the candle grew to a flame and burnt him to ashes. Thanking God, I came out of the church and went home.
