Horrific Retribution

It was a sunny Saturday, half day at Sameer's school. As soon as the bell rang at 12 noon, Sameer and his group friends rushed to the amusement park in Raman's car. Raman was just another member of the group, except that he was very rich, which was shown by his owning a good, expensive SUV.
They were all teenagers. Few of the group were sixteen, some were seventeen and a few were eighteen even, one of them being Raman. They requested and begged their parents to let them go the the amusement park together. Their parents were reluctant because this group of friends created problems everywhere and for everyone, but somehow, the kids convinced their parents to let them go.
All of them were very excited. Sameer looked out of the window to enjoy the scenes while Raman drove his car though the highway which led to the amusement park. They all finally reached the amusement park at around 2 pm after a total 2 hours travelling, showed their tickets to the gate-keeper and went inside.
All four went for a rollercoaster ride and it was the first experience of everyone on a rollercoaster except for Raman, who used to come here with his parents previously too. Everyone enjoyed the ride and it was a wonderful experience for them all.
Sukhdev suggested that everyone should have some ice-cream since the weather was not-so-nice; it was hot.
While the friends enjoyed their double scoop chocolate-strawberry ice-cream cone, they noticed that Dharam was missing. The friends became alert and searched for him but all of that went in vain. Raman suggested to go to the main office and make an announcement to find Dharam.
They made the announcement but he was still no where to be found.
While they were searching for Dharam they notice that Sukhdev was missing .
They looked for them everywhere and suddenly ; it was all dark with a dim light blinking .
They turn everywhere and find themselves away from each other .
The light suddenly turns on and they find Dharam and Sukhdev hanging up it the air .
They were speechless and completely enigmatic !
Sameer notices that Raman's eyes are red now , Sukhdev and Dharam fell down !
Sameer was cryptic and both Sukhdev and Dharam also seemed weird .
Their eyes grew red .
They were hit on their heads and took to a room .
When all of them were back to consciousness ; they noticed that all of them were tied to chairs with ropes .
Sameer's black silky hair was wet with blood and his yellow shirt was red now .
Sukhdev was beside him with his back towards Sameer .
He turned back and !
His face and eyes were pale ; turning red .
Out of nowhere Sameer notices something in Sukhdev's face and jumps on him along with his chair .
Sukhdev ! Now was turning normal , with is round face back to its shape .
He does the same to Dharam and all were now mystified at what is happening.
A mysterious figure blew over their face and they all fell down .
Freeing themselves ; they shouted , " Who are you and what do you want ?"
It screamed out of nowhere , " You killed me and I will do the same to you ! I won't spare ! I won't spare anyone ! "
All of them were bewildered ! Gathering some courage they said , "No it was us. "
But that soul was committed to a horrific retribution .
It enter Dharam and hit all of them to walls and left everyone except Sameer.
Sameer was frantic and asked what did he do !
It replied ," You along with your friends and drove your car over me ! It was my old , blind mom's birthday who was waiting for me and I was nowhere to be living ! She is now all alone ! You were driving and drunk !"
Sameer confessed that he never drives ! But the ghost thought it to be a false claim and killed him .
All of his friends were spared but in such a way that they all were believed to be dead and couldn't meet thier parents in same way as the ghost and made to look after the old blind woman .
Still it's said that , they work under that old lady .
In the Court of The Dark Lord
Samuel was in high spirits. He was packing his bag to go to the La la land. His parents and friends had pleaded to him not to go but he did not pay any heed. He was humming a tune of an old English song while he packed his requirements.
Samuel was an adventurer from a very small age. He had killed a tiger when he was just 10 years old with his father's gun. From then on, he had indulged in many great adventures where he had always won. He had also written about the Dark Lord of La la land - some of his deadly secrets that no one knew about - the secrets he got from his dead uncle's notebook. He believed that this visit would help him uncover more secrets. Samuel had always been successful. He did not know the bitterness of failure which he was going to know soon...…
There were many reasons why Samuel's well-wishers didn't want him to go to La la land. It was haunted. The country has been in darkness for the past fifty years - dark clouds always hovered on top of it, only bats lived there and the people there had their eyeballs popping out, walking like human ghosts.
Samuel had received an invitation from a social media friend who stays in La la land to help him out with some things related to the book. Being an adventurer, he had no second thoughts and agreed to meet at once.
Ill omens started from the beginning itself. First of all his grandmother fell from the stairs and then a black cat jumped across his vehicle. But not caring for the least, Samuel joyfully drove his car to his doom.
Samuel was astonished on seeing the castle his friend was staying in. It was made of black marble from top to toe. Bats hovered around its towers. A black cat was sitting on it wall staring at Samuel with its glassy yellow eyes. Just as he stepped out, a flash of lightning hit the castle, lightening it as a whole. For a moment, he thought the lightning was shaped like Thanatos , the Greek God of death. Grinning at his own joke, he walked up the cobbled pathway upto the castle.
Augustine Jose, his social media friend [whom he had never met before] ran upto to the castle door to meet him. "Welcome Samuel! Welcome!", he cried. Both of them hugged each other and proceeded into the castle.
"I wouldn't be able to help you out long as I said earlier due to inconveniences. I will show you to the castle library. All books regarding the Dark Lord are present there."
Samuel was amused by the vastness of the library. He found a large volume called "The Dark Lord" and started skimming through its pages.
Augustine made himself comfortable on a bench and started reading a magazine asking questions then and now.
"Did you know that the Dark Lord was an ex-magistrate?"
"Yes. He was a black magician who transformed La la land the year he got the promotion as the magistrate wasn't he?"
"Hmm. Yes. But do you know his actual name?"
"A. Joseph?"
"Wow! You know much more than the citizens of La la land. Haha! Carry on with your work please. I will bring something for us to eat."
Just as Augustine went out, Samuel started looking at the other books in the rack. Suddenly, his hand struck a book that looked odd and took it out. On top of it, written in gold were the words "The Secrets".
Just as he was about to open the book, a hand was placed on his shoulder that chilled his spine. Turning around, he was shocked to see the horrifying face of a man grinning at him.
"What was the name of the Lord?"
"A. Joseph."
"And what is the name of your host?"
"Augus....tine....Jo...."
Suddenly the bitter truth dawned on Samuel. He was captured by the Dark Lord himself.
"No one has tried to reveal the secrets of the Dark Lord. You will have the same fate as your uncle."
He dragged Samuel to the hall next room and threw him to the floor. The hall was filled with the zombie citizens.
"This little pest has tried to reveal our secrets! What must be done to him?"
"Exorcised our lord!"
Are you sure!"
"Our lord never makes mistakes!"
Samuel knew his end was near. He thought of the secrets he had just seen and read. He thought of his loved ones. But all was too late. The Dark Lord took out his wand and pointed it at Samuel. Green Flash and then...darkness...

Samuel's body was later recovered from a swamp a few kilometers away from his house along with belongings. Even though the postmortem report read mysterious death, his well wishers knew what had killed him.
While the last rites were being performed, Samuel's grandma unstuck a page from the diary of Samuel's uncle. It read:
"Never go looking for Augustine. He is cruel and always do injustice. If you ever read this...this is a request. Don't go for him or you will have the same fate as mine.....
