This happened when I was about 8 years old . My sister and I have an age gap of 9 years so she was probably seventeen by then.I had my dance classes on that day which was conducted in a house that was about 5–6 blocks away.Even though usually it was my dad who used to come to pick me up,that day since he was busy it was my sister who picked me up.
I was so angry at dad for not coming to get me in his his car because with my sister I had to walk back home. (I know that I was stupid).In anger I had walked a few steps ahead of my sister when I noticed a group of stray dogs in the side ways.Paying no heed to it,I walked ahead n the other side of the road.
Even though there was no provocation,one of the dogs rushed to attack me. My sister who was at a considerable distance behind me,rushed forward with a stick to ward it off.Even though she was successful at scaring that single dog,her action enraged the rest of the dogs.The whole group of about 7–8 dogs rushed towards us while my sister backed me up against a wall and stood in front of me.I was sandwiched between the wall and my sister who was trying so hard to push them off and escape with me.
Somehow after about one or two minutes she managed to find an opening from the attack for our escape.Picking me up,she ran all the way back to our house while the group of dogs were still chasing us.As we neared our house,some people managed to shoo the dogs away but my sister kept running with me in her arms while I clung on to her.
She only let me down once we reached the doorstep of our house.She was covered in bruises and was badly bleeding while I had just a scratch on my hand and that too because of the wall.
I still vividly remember her bravery and the fact that she stood for me not caring about her well being.Till that day I always wanted a brother who would be all protective about me but that day I realized that my sister was my saviour.

It was a rainy day. The nearby plains were flooded with rain water. There was a boat floating on the banks. I thought why not go for boating in the rains. My friend also wished to join me. Both of us went for boating. In the beginning we were boating without any trouble. But things took a different turn when our boat was passing under a tree. A tree cobra suddenly slipped in our boat from the tree. We got scared and started jumping. Soon our boat capsized and we were drowned. Some fishermen noticed us and came to our rescue. This incident is unforgettable as both of us got back a new lease of life.
