I hope my letter finds you in the best of health and spirit.I am fine.In this letter,I am going to tell you something about my favorite festival - holi.
Holi is referred as the festival of many colors.The night before the Holi festival a Holika bonfire is burned to celebrate the victory of good over evil.
Holi is celebrated by smearing color on each other.Do you know why? There is a legend which says that once Krishna mischievously colored Radha's face to make her like himself as he was worried that he wouldn't be accepted by her because of his dark blue skin color.
On the day of Holi,we all smear colors on each other's face and play with pichkaris(a water gun used to squirt colored water). We all sing and dance to the beat of dholak.Then we' drink Thandai and eat Gujia or Ghughra ,Puran Poli and Dahi Wada.
