grandmother: Personally, alot of things have changed in modern times. In previous times, there used to be problems with women getting an education, with women having careers, jobs and getting married to the men of their choice. However, times have changed now.
Me: How so?
grandmother: Nowadays women have more choice, they have more freedom. They talk about their basic human rights and get some recognition. They are more career oriented and get more opportunities than we ever got.
Me: Can you give an example?
grandmother: For instance, now there are fixed quotas for women seats in getting into colleges and universities as well. So, in a way they are getting more opportunities.
