Answer:
Here is the interview:
Explanation:
Interviewer: What are your duty hours during the pandemic?
Doctor: We have been working for more than 18 hours a day.
Interviewer: That's tough! Do you think people are being supportive of doctors?
Doctor: Only a few people. Most of the people do not follow SOPs and are less supportive!
Interviewer: What have you learned from this pandemic as a doctor?
Doctor: Honestly, so many things, especially to be more patient and compassionate.
The interview is given as follows:
Explanation:
Date: 4th December 2020
Interviewer: Shailesh Sinha
Interviewee: Dr. Prashant Ahuja
Interviewer: Hello doctor, we see you've been working very hard during this pandemic. How have your work hours increased during this time?
Interviewee: Thank you. The hours have increased significantly, we used to have a 10-hour shift and now that has reached to about 20-hours a day.
Interviewer: With such long shift hours how do you manage your sleep and diet?
Interviewee: To be honest we don't. It gets very difficult to take out time for food, so we take super meals or twice a day. For sleep, 2-3 hours of it has only been possible for a while.
Interviewer: What measures would you suggest for the people to lessen the outbreak?
Interviewee: There's nothing extra than what the government is saying. Wear masks, sanitize your hands regularly, avoid going out, and do not gather any kind of crowds. It is as simple as that.
Interviewer: You have been working so hard, do you expect any incentives for this?
Interviewee: There's nothing like that, all us doctors have put ourselves on national duty and we don't expect a reward for it. All we want is for the people to recover and for the pandemic to end as soon as possible.
Interviewer: Thank you very much for taking out time for this interview. We heartily appreciate your efforts.
Interviewee: You're welcome. And thank you as well, for the appreciation.
