I'm extremely angry. That filthy Ewell attacked Scout and me last night, breaking my arm just below the elbow. I won't be playing football for a time, according to the doctor. I despise old Bob Ewell, and I believe he deserved what happened to him. He apparently fell on his knife and died. He was undoubtedly a horrible person. Maybe Boo Radley himself came to my rescue! It still defies belief for me. Because Scout got to take him home and speak with him, I suppose I'm a little envious of her. I sincerely hope that the upcoming months will be better than the recent ones for our family.
