Dear Father,

I am writing this letter to inform you about the visit that I had to home for Chhath Puja. It still makes me feel sad that you weren't with us that day. But I can understand why you didn't  come. I saw people following strict routines that lasted four days, in which they fasted, offered prayer, holy-bathed, and meditated while standing in the water. Many of the Indian and Nepalese people of our town observed this festival. Even though it is usually for women, but there were also some men which shows that it is not a gender-specific festival. I hope you will be here next time for the festival. Much love.
