Sir,
Being a concerned citizen of Durgapur, I would like to intimate you of the exorbitant fares charged by the auto rickshaw drivers of the city. Taking full advantage of the restrictions imposed by the Government on the running of city buses on account of the prevailing pandemic, these auto rickshaw drivers are over charging the people.
Other than raising the fares, the attitude of the auto rickshaw drivers is also a matter of concern. They are becoming extremely arrogant and rough. They are treating the passengers with extreme rudeness.
I would request the Transport Authority to look into the matter and take immediate action.
