Subject: Inconvenience Caused By Prolonged Road Repair Work
Sir:
I am writing to your good-self to bring to your attention the inconvenience being faced by the residents of Green Enclave. The Municipal Corporation laid new sewage pipes in our colony two months ago. However, the roads were left unrepaired afterwards. We wrote many letters requesting the concerned authorities but to no avail. Owing to the poor conditions of roads, everyday there is a mishap of some sort. During the rains, the situation becomes the worst. Vehicles get stuck miserably in the mud.
I on behalf of the residents of the area appeal to you to relieve us of the inconvenience we have been facing for so many weeks. Our children, elderly, and other people are getting hurt every day, not to mention the harassment we are constantly facing. If no immediate action is taken, we will be forced to call media and have a documentary made and shown on TV. May be this will instigate the concerned authority to action. I hope you will seriously look into the matter. Thanking you.
