I am student of standard 6th section A. I am writing this letter to inform you that unfortunately I would not be able to attend school on the re-opening day of school.

As the vacation was going on, we'd gone out of town and we would be returning after a week. In this haste, I got a call that my sister had been admitted in hospital.Due to this, I couldn't complete my holiday assignments.

I am extremely sorry for the inconvenience.I assure you that I shall complete my assignments and report on the next day.
