The Hindus commemorate Lord Krishna's birth on Janmashtami. People observe an all-day fast and only break their fast once Bal Krishna is born. To welcome Lord Krishna into their homes, people celebrate this day.
In the Pre-Primary Division of Udgam School for Children, a celebration of Lord Krishna's birthday was held. All of the kids arrived dressed traditionally. Some men arrived dressed as "Krishna," while some women appeared as "Radha." To make this celebration happier and more colourful, lovely decorations were placed on display. Children danced to the garba music. A "Matki Phod" celebration was also planned to honour "Bal Gopal's" mischievous disposition.
