Dear sir,
Through the esteemed columns of your newspaper,i want to bring in light the problems faced by us due to water shortage in our area. Also the main objective of this letter is to urge the concerned authorities to take appropriate actions.
we all know that water is one of the basic needs of living beings.We cannot imagine our life without water. But the problem of water shortage in our area is acute and hence,it has created larger consequences for us. We are unable to get neither potable water nor water for household works.
Everyone is aware of the fact water is life, and Importance of water is at a great extent. But due to this acute water shortage we are suffering a lot.
Nowadays ,people have became so careless and so selfish , that they are exploiting natural resources at a great extent,one of these resources is water, people are wasting water ,they are not using it intelligently ,without being aware of the fact that if all the natural resources get exploited ,then what will remain for the next generation.....only one third water of the earth is potable ,and the rest is in the ocean or in the form of ice caps, glaciers etc.
Hence,there is an immediate need of awareness among people .
I hope this article will get a position in your newspaper,so that this problem should be eradicated as soon as possible......
