Subject : My opinion on importance of english.
Sir,
My name is Mehak and I am a student of class-10. I have been noticing that many students don't know english very well, not only in my class, but many other classes too. It is hard for people to communicate without english, people should know it's importance and learn it.
English is known by many of us, and some of us don't know english very well, we can't communicate to people who don't know english and it's not difficult for us, it would be difficult to them in future, we can communicate with anyone (worldwide), but they can't. They need to know that it is important to understand this language, it would be helpful to them in any work, and become productive in future.
English has an advantage, it is that it can be spoken anywhere, 3 out of 10 people can speak english very well, and the left 7 can't, it is their disadvantage. English can also affect our impression, people who speak english leave a perfect impression on people, while those who speak hindi don't. English speaking people tend to get jobs easily than those who speak hindi. Everyone knows hindi is our mothertongue, and national language, but english is also important, for worldwide interaction. This should be explained to each and every citizen, so that everyone know it's importance and learn it for development of country.
I hope you would like to shed light on this topic in your newspaper (especially in hindi newspaper) because this topic needs to be discussed.
Yours thankfully,
Mehak
