I know that you are upset that I didn’t arrive at the airport to receive you on time.

I am apologizing with all my heart for standing you up.

I will defend my helplessness with a valid reason and I really hope that you will understand.

While leaving my home to reach the airport I fell and sprained my ankle which resulted in excruciating pain.

I had to instead rush to the hospital for a treatment.

I am now asked to stay indoors and rest as much as possible.

I am asking for your forgiveness again.
