A responsible citizen abides by all the law and order of the country. They are entitled to exercise all the fundamental rights and duties, such as casting a vote, paying government taxes and protecting the country from corruption.
Ideal citizens are responsible for completing duties to make our democratic government work. Duties are an obligation to do your civic job. Citizens are required to do these civic jobs such as obeying the law; Citizens have to obey laws of their country but they would also have to know what the laws are.
The first requisite of a good citizen in this republic of ours is that he shall be able and willing to pull his own weight. Every good citizen makes his country's honor his own, and cherishes it not only as precious but as sacred.
