Dear Mother,
It has been almost a fortnight that I have joined the Hostel. I miss you and father terribly. But I must admit hostel life is not that bad as I had thought.
You were right that hostel life teaches you a lot of things. Time management, self dependence, finance management are some to name a few. Also hostel life never leaves you bored. There are so many friends to talk, play,dine and study with.
Hostel life also teaches us sharing and living together in harmony. and to compromise and to be empathetic . I have to thank you and father for sending me to the hostel. It has helped me become disciplined and patient.
I am counting the days left for the summer vacation to begin. I can meet you then. Take care. Convey my love to father and tell him not to worry about me.
