I would like to draw your kind attention to the water pollution in our area.
The water is really polluted. There have been cases on diarrhoea, cholera, dysentery, typhoid and polio which all are caused due to contaminated water. Many people are falling sick by the day. We called the authorities to check the water in our area and they said that it is not pure at all. They told us they would bring the concerned authorities right away last week but till now there is no news.

Through the column of your esteemed daily, I would like to draw the kind attention of the concerned authorities and common masses towards Polluted Water Supply. I wish to draw the attention of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi to the polluted water supply. Kindly spare a little space in your esteemed newspaper to highlight my problem.
It is a sad thing that the water supply in the area is either meagre or polluted. For the last month, the water supplied by the corporation is dirty looking and gives a bad smell. It is a great hazard to health. It is feared that it may cause dangerous diseases like jaundice or cholera in this area.
The residents of this locality have complained to the authorities many times. But no attention has been paid to this problem. We hope that the problem will be solved with the help of your newspaper.
