Subject :- Subways and the pedestrians.

Respected Sir,

I wish you to help in creating among our people the awareness about the subways. We often come across groups of people waiting to cross the road. Sometimes while doing so, they meet with an accident. Yet they do not try to use the subway that is very often quite nearby.

There are various reasons. First, many pedestrians are not aware of them. They are not easily visible. The road-authorities should do something about it. Second, many deliberately avoid using these subways because they are often very filthy and I of garbage. Stagnant water in the subways is another problem. The authorities tmisted with the duty of maintaining the subways should work more efficiently.

Most importantly, the traffic police should check the pedestrians who are crossing the road and not using the subway.
